The New Year has always been a time for looking back to the past, and more importantly, forward to the coming year. It’s a time to reflect on the changes we want (or need) to make and resolve to follow through on those changes. Well we have put together a list of 2010 new year’s resolutions for your online marketing plan.
1. Become more “Social” – By now that you must have a Facebook fan page and a Twitter account and must again allocate time to interact regularly.
2. Video is it - Video marketing continues to be the hot trend. Establish your own YouTube channel and investigate video marketing distribution sites. Create slideshows or presentations to potential prospects.
3. Blog, Blog, and Blog more - Your business blog must be vibrant, alive and must be updated daily. Essentially, your blog either works or it doesn’t and there is no in between. Great content equals great success.
4. Press Releases – Tell others what your working on and what you have accomplished. Submitting press releases is a great way to get your name out there.
5. Stay Alerted – Use Google Alerts to find out what your competitors are doing or what others are saying about you.
6. Get In Contact – Are you storing email addresses or subscriptions? Don’t let them just sit there put them to use and remarket to these subscribers and turn them into customers.
