An interesting story coming from the Google Blog. Google has contracted a goat herding company called California Grazing to use a low carbon approach to mow their property. Apparently they have several fields that need mowing as well as to remove brush in an effort to reduce fire hazards.
According to Google it costs about the same to contract the goats as it does to have the lawn mowed, and they are much more fun to look at:
